Technical pioneers

Whether individual and direct, via third-party providers or web-based – the Lufthansa Group airlines are technological pioneers of New Distribution Capability and were one of the first to receive IATA’s highest NDC certification.

NDC@Scale certification means that NDC is fully operational in the Lufthansa Group airlines, and the complete booking process, including support management and shop functions, can be displayed in a live environment in a scalable way. The constant further development of existing solutions is as much a part of the basic technical understanding as the testing of new methods in joint pilot projects with our customers and distribution partners.
